About Samasta Puri Indah

Your neighborhood aerial studio.

Samasta is an aerial studio for hoop, sling and pole, with 6 studios across Jakarta, Tangerang and Medan. Our classes are built around flow: you learn to link one move into the next, so the whole class feels like moving through the air.

Samasta Puri Indah is the cozy one. It's on the 2nd floor of Mabelle Salon, right inside Permata Buana, so a class fits into a weekday evening or a weekend morning without a drive across town. It's a small, warm room that feels more like a hideaway than a gym, and we dress it up with new themes from time to time, so there's often something new to see when you walk in.

Four things everyone asks before their first class.

I'm not strong enough.

Nobody is on day one. Aerial is how you get strong: every class works your grip, arms, shoulders and core, and you'll feel it get easier class by class.

Won't I get dizzy?

Beginner classes start low and slow. You stay close to the ground, spins are optional, and your instructor sets the pace with you.

I've never done anything like this.

Good. Beginner classes are built for exactly you, starting from how to hold the apparatus and get on safely.

Will I look silly?

For about ten minutes. Then you'll link your first two moves together and want a video of it. Your instructor is happy to film one.

Pick your apparatus.

Three ways to get off the ground at Puri Indah. Every class builds toward a flow: moves linked one into the next, so you spend the class moving through the air. All three start from zero. Not sure which one? Ask us on WhatsApp and we'll help you choose.

Aerial Hoop

You learn to climb in, then link sits, hangs and rolls into one continuous flow around the ring. Every transition builds real upper-body and core strength along the way.

Aerial Sling

The fabric carries your weight, so you can melt slowly from one shape into the next and find out what flying feels like. The gentlest first step if you're nervous about heights.

Pole

Spins and climbs strung together into one flowing sequence. You build grip and full-body strength fast, and learn to carry momentum from one spin straight into the next.

Come with a neighbor. Leave with a crew.

Puri Indah is a neighborhood studio, so the people in your class probably live a few streets away. They book classes together, swap progress videos and turn up for each other. You'll walk in as a beginner and walk out with a crew.

Your first class, step by step.

Here's everything that happens between tapping “book” and your first flow in the air.

1

Book online

Pick a beginner class and pay in a couple of taps on Kuyy.

2

Dress for your apparatus

Hoop and sling: fitted clothes that cover your underarms and the backs of your knees. Pole: shorts and a fitted top, because bare skin is what grips. Skip lotion and jewellery.

3

Arrive a little early

Come 10 to 15 minutes before class so your instructor can say hi and walk you through the warm-up.

4

Get off the ground

Your instructor spots you on every move, from your first climb to linking moves into a short flow.

Still wondering?

No. Beginner classes start from the very basics, and flexibility is something aerial builds, not something you need first.

Your first class is one tap away.

Pick a beginner class, show up, and get off the ground. We'll take care of the rest.
